The Marlin Brando – Viking 68
With four staterooms, five heads, and a salon designed for comfort and flow, the Viking 68 delivers the key performance attributes that define a true tournament contender: speed, range, and maneuverability. Built to excel offshore, The Marlin Brando is equally capable as a serious sportfishing machine and a refined cruising yacht.
An expansive 176-square-foot cockpit provides a spacious platform for competitive fishing, while an air-conditioned observation mezzanine allows guests to enjoy the ride in comfort. A Seakeeper system further enhances stability and comfort in offshore conditions, ensuring a smooth experience even when the seas are challenging.
Designed for Serious Fishing
Tournament-ready features are integrated throughout the vessel. The cockpit and deck layout are designed for efficiency, safety, and performance, with features that support both competitive angling and extended offshore trips.
The Marlin Brando includes a walk-through transom door with lift gate, transom live well, in-deck fishboxes, chilled salon step box, and both fresh and saltwater washdowns. A reinforced fighting chair backing plate ensures readiness for big-game action, while dual Glendinning Cablemasters provide added dockside flexibility.
The mezzanine features aft-facing lounge seating with Sunbrella cushions, tackle drawers, a bait freezer, and excellent access to the Seakeeper through a large lazarette hatch — blending comfort with functionality.
Flybridge & Helm
The open flybridge is built around a center console helm equipped with fingertip Optimus Electronic Power Steering and electronic trolling valves, delivering precise handling and control. Electronics are flush-mounted in an all-glass display for a clean, modern look and excellent visibility.
Rod storage is located beneath the port and starboard bench seats, while a forward-facing bench seat and freezer complete the flybridge layout, ensuring both crew efficiency and guest comfort.
Salon & Galley
The salon aboard the Viking 68 is both refined and highly functional, offering a spacious open layout that blends comfort with practicality. A large L-shaped lounge aft provides a relaxed gathering space with excellent visibility to the cockpit.
The island galley serves as the heart of the salon, featuring bar stools, under-counter refrigeration, freezer drawers, and modern amenities ideal for entertaining or meal preparation. Opposite the galley, a dinette with a walnut table offers a welcoming space for casual dining.
Satin and gloss-finished horizontal grain cabinetry, premium materials, and thoughtful design details create an inviting atmosphere well-suited for long trips and tournament days alike.
Staterooms & Accommodations
The master stateroom features a queen walkaround berth, walnut cabinetry, hanging locker, HDTV, and an ensuite head with a separate shower — providing a private and comfortable retreat.
The forward guest stateroom also includes a walkaround queen berth with deep under-bed storage. Port and crew staterooms offer upper and lower bunks, each with private heads and stall showers. Crew quarters are accessed via a separate staircase, ensuring privacy for both guests and crew.
